Hey devs
I've recently bought a ThinkPad T420 but i have several (non critical)
ACPI issues with it. My dmesg say:
thinkpad_acpi: ThinkPad BIOS 83ET65WW (1.35 ), EC unknown
... and I've tried install latest tp_smapi and insmod the modules from
the package, with no success. When insmod thinkpad_ec, dmesg says:
thinkpad_ec: no ThinkPad embedded controller
... and tp_smapi and hdaps fails too because of the thinkpad_ec not
loaded. The hdaps modules that comes with linux 3.1 fails too.
When I place the laptop i my dock i get the following from dmesg:
thinkpad_acpi: docked into hotplug port replicator
thinkpad_acpi: unknown possible thermal alarm or keyboard event received
thinkpad_acpi: unhandled HKEY event 0x6040
thinkpad_acpi: please report the conditions when this event happened
to ibm-acpi-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
thinkpad_acpi: EC reports that Thermal Table has changed
Is there anything I can provide to you that could speedup the support?
Or do you know of any fixes?
