Special thanks to Guo Yonggang for showing me where to find the source
code for these input system utilities. The following were recorded
using "acpi_osi=Linux". If I omit that, volume up and down remain the
same but mute no longer results in any input events.

ThinkPad model: Lenovo ThinkPad X61
Model number: 7673CTO
BIOS version: 7NET29WW (1.10 )

Linux distribution: Fedora 8
Linux kernel: 2.6.23.9-85.fc8
thinkpad_acpi version: 0.18-20071203

volume up key:
	EV_MSC code=4 value=176
	EV_KEY KEY_VOLUMEUP pressed
	EV_SYN code=0 value=0
	EV_MSC code=4 value=176
	EV_KEY KEY_VOLUMEUP released
	EV_SYN code=0 value=0

volume down key:
	EV_MSC code=4 value=174
	EV_KEY KEY_VOLUMEDOWN pressed
	EV_SYN code=0 value=0
	EV_MSC code=4 value=174
	EV_KEY KEY_VOLUMEDOWN released
	EV_SYN code=0 value=0

mute key:
	EV_MSC code=4 value=160
	EV_KEY KEY_MUTE pressed
	EV_SYN code=0 value=0
	EV_MSC code=4 value=160
	EV_KEY KEY_MUTE released
	EV_SYN code=0 value=0
