Yes. Thank you for your response -- it is exactly the sort of feedback
I was looking for.

If there are no objections, over the course of next week I'll look into
what do you enable in OBS for Factory, perhaps also some more distros,
and will start sending out patches that enable more things in the stock
defconfig. 

Perhaps it will be easiest to review things if each option to be
enabled ends up in a separate patch along with some justification in
the commit message. If things go well, then the defconfig will end up
converging to the distro configs and we'll all get a better idea about
the options we use.
