Ah, ok, I believe that I understand. That being said, it still doesn't work. From the packet traces, at least some packets are coming back from the test systems at Polycom, because they're identifying themselves as VSX8000 #1, which is what I would expect, since that's what the Polycom web page says they're called. Approximately two seconds later, the connection closes. Since I'm not a H.323 protocol expert, what _should_ be be seeing at that point? Since we're at least getting packets coming back in it appears that the external firewall is sufficiently open, correct? Would the traces from the GnuGK be more useful?
