That is happening because your GSM gateway is sending connect signal. 
Is not a gnugk problem and gk cannot make the difference when is a 
person and when is a recorded message.
For some analog GSM devices you can have correct signaling only when 
enabling reverse polarity.
So check in your GSM box what options you have to disable this 
'connected' message. You have not specified what kind of GSM gw is it.
