I had a misunderstanding about basic concept of how gatekeeper works, I think.
Please help.
Suppose I have a gatekeeper running at IP 10.0.0.1, and mcu running at IP 10.0.0.2
which registers with gatekeeper successfully. Now, suppose a user wants to make a
h323 call to mcu through the gatekeeper, what should he do? I used to think that the
user just needs to call the gatekeeper and gatekeeper will route him to mcu. Today I tried
that, but the only message I got is that '10.0.0.1 does not have a phone running' something
like that.
I'm so confused now. does the user have to register with gatekeeper@xxxxxxxx first?
any opinion is appreciated.
