Hi all, I am new to the VoIP world. I am now working on a project that involve GnuGK 2.2.2 (Windows binary) and Cisco AS5300 (as PSTN gateway). The GnuGK is running on a Windows 2000 server with 2 network interface, one with public IP, to which the Cisco AS5300 is configured to registered with, and the other interface is assigned with an internal IP, to which a 3rd party Proxy server is configured to connected to. The 3rd party Proxy server is used to routed all video and voice traffics from all endpoints (some of them are behind NAT boxes such as Linksys broadband routers). The endpoints can register to the GunGK through the 3rd party Proxy server, however, the Cisco AS5300 failed to register to the GunGK. Debug log of the AS5300 shows that it keeps on retrying to connect the the internal IP address of the GunGK instead of the public IP. From status windows of GKeep, I found that the AS5300 sent one GCF message to the GunGK before start retrying. It seems to me that AS5300 somehow got the internal IP address of GnuGK from the response of it. This problem goes away if I remove the network interface to the internal network. Is there any way to configure GnuGK to only response to the Gateway its public IP? Is it possible to change configuration of GnuGK without restarting it? Is it possible to use the routed mode of GnuGK to replace the 3rd party Proxy server? Please bear with me if my questions had been asked as I really can't find them in the archive. Thanks a lot.
