changes are, after-all, small and simple for my first try.
    
Easy as pie:

    git format-patch

If you don't get a patch, you probably haven't commited your changes
locally:

    git commit -a

Oh, I see, it appeared to do nothing because it saved the output to a file.... Very nice. Roman, you should now have the patch.
