In theory, yeah. In practice, I feel like if we tried to be clever and
just word it that way we'd wind up having to explain why an apparently
simple fix that popped up at the last minute was taken under this
"difficult to fix" clause, and then I think the text would wind having
more or less the same bits as it does now, only in a less clear
construction. But...if you think it can be done, take a cut at it! Post
a draft :)
