It would make it easier :-)  It still can't be done for this package,
though, for the reasons given.  When you check out the sources, I think
you'll see what I mean.

64bit programs might be okay in %{_libdir} as they aren't multilib.  If
it won't hurt, I'd be happier moving it out to libexec, though.  Since
the library has 64 bit libraries, I'm in no position to set %{_libdir}
to /usr/lib on x86_64 and will have to figure out all the brokenness and
fix it instead.
