Release notes are not an app. They are documentation and should be presented as such. The change you just made has little to no benefit for us.
Regardless to what desktop files you choose to install, according to the approved guidelines for applications and launchers in Fedora Workstation, launchers that launch things that are not apps should include the X-GNOME-Sundry in their desktop file. Please add this category as it is part of a mandatory policy for default launchers in Fedora Workstation.
