Your majority claim is still bogus.

As for the rest of that question, they care.  Which is why the open
source drivers are supported as much as possible and development
continues to happen.

It's unfortunate that nVidia doesn't provide an open source driver.
However, as I've repeatedly said Fedora doesn't cater to binary
drivers.  Even at the cost of some functionality.
