Why would you read it that way? That's not at all what I said. I said "I
don't even care about vmware".

If you are talking about changes that break the ability to easily install additional software, the effect is on fedora users

I was not speaking as a policy statement for fedora, nor red hat, not
even for yum.

OK, I took it in the context of this conversation about removing 32-bit libs from fedora.
