Hi all, It's that time of the year again - pointing out packages that are at a lower version in Fedora 41 (branched) than Fedora 40 (stable). For those that are just obviously missing unintentionally, I plan to submit the missing builds and bodhi updates later today. As for those updates that are handled by packit and which are missing Rawhide and / or Fedora 41 builds -- not sure what can be done here, but packit should be better than that. Fabio ================================================================================ Here's the list of downgrades (ignoring Release): Downgraded packages: (20) - calls-0:47.0-1.fc40 > calls-0:47~beta.0-1.fc41 This was updated on Fedora 40 and in Rawhide, 41 was missed. - chordpro-0:6.060-2.fc40 > chordpro-0:6.050-4.fc41 This was updated on Fedora 40, 39, and in Rawhide, 41 was missed. - fluent-bit-0:3.0.4-1.fc40 > fluent-bit-0:2.2.2-1.fc41 Looks like this one was missed for Fedora 41 and Rawhide, not sure why. The Mass Rebuild build failed too, but koschei is green now. - gedit-control-your-tabs-0:0.4.1-1.fc40 > gedit-control-your-tabs-0:0.4.0-7.fc40 Looks like this one fails to build on Fedora 41+. - gimp3-0:2.99.19^20240916gitca9d57a417-1.fc40 > gimp3-0:2.99.19^20240824git74bbe26918-2.fc41 Looks like Fedora 41 has an older snapshot. The package was retired in Rawhide, but not in Fedora 41, so the fact that it's still in Fedora 41 is likely unintentional. - haruna-0:1.2.0-1.fc40 > haruna-0:1.1.2-3.fc41 This one was built for Fedora Rawhide and 40, but not 41. Should get fixed when / if the ffmpeg 7 rebuild lands. - keycloak-httpd-client-install-0:1.3-1.fc40 > keycloak-httpd-client-install-0:1.1-23.fc41 Looks like the 1.3 update was pushed to the f41 branch in dist-git, but never built. - matrix-synapse-0:1.111.1-1.fc40 > matrix-synapse-0:1.110.0-2.fc41 There's newer versions in Rawhide and F40, but not built for F41. Not sure why. - mrack-0:1.19.0-1.fc40 > mrack-0:1.18.0-5.fc41 Here, packit didn't submit updates for Fedora Rawhide and 41. - nest-0:3.8-1.fc40 > nest-0:3.7-5.fc41 Package was updated to 3.8 on Rawhide, Fedora 40, and 39, but Fedora 41 was missed. - nwchem-0:7.2.3-1.fc40 > nwchem-0:7.2.2-7.fc41 Package was updated to 7.2.3 on Rawhide, Fedora 40, and 39, but Fedora 41 was missed. - phosh-0:0.41.1-1.fc40 > phosh-0:0.41.0-5.fc41 Package was updated to 0.41.1 on Rawhide and Fedora 40, but Fedora 41 was missed. - picard-0:2.12.1-1.fc40 > picard-0:2.12.0-4.fc41 There *is* an update of 2.12.1 for Fedora 41, but it's not tagged correctly: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2024-95f1285d8f - python-rstcheck-core-0:1.2.1-1.fc40 > python-rstcheck-core-0:1.1.1-5.fc41 This one was updated to 1.2.1 only on Fedora 40, not Rawhide or Fedora 41. - qm-0:0.6.7-1.fc40 > qm-0:0.6.4-2.fc41 Another packit victim. Updates were pushed for Rawhide, Fedora 40, 39, and EPEL 9, but not Fedora 41. - renderdoc-0:1.34-1.fc40 > renderdoc-0:1.33-3.fc41 Package was updated to 1.34 on Rawhide and Fedora 40, but Fedora 41 was missed. - samba-2:4.20.5-1.fc40 > samba-2:4.20.4-1.fc41 This update is stuck in "pending" on Fedora 41, looks like the builds are not getting signed: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2024-e331cd53ac - sdrangel-0:7.22.0-1.fc40 > sdrangel-0:7.21.4-4.fc41 This one was updated to 7.22.0 only on Fedora 40 and 39, not Rawhide or Fedora 41. - shapelib-0:1.6.1-1.fc40 > shapelib-0:1.6.0-3.fc41 Package was updated to 1.6.1 on Rawhide and Fedora 40, but Fedora 41 was missed. - tipcutils-0:3.0.6-1.fc40 > tipcutils-0:3.0.4-11.fc41 Package was updated to 3.0.6 on Rawhide, Fedora 40, 39, and EPEL 9, but Fedora 41 was missed. -- _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
