Looking at this... it seems your argument is that it would be better to
use ffmpeg's AAC decoder instead. But I don't believe that
implementation of AAC has been approved by Fedora Legal, so it's
probably not an option for us?
My understanding is that fdk-aac is the only permitted AAC
implementation in Fedora, so it's a choice between that or no AAC at
all. Seems like fixing it would be better than removing it? :)
