We have an openQA podman test already (a pair of tests actually), which check podman can pull from the registry, then build a basic image which runs a web server, run a container with that image, and test the web server is reachable. We'd only been running those on IoT and CoreOS images, but there's no reason we can't run them in other contexts too. So as of now they will also run on critpath updates and any non- critpath updates containing podman, containernetworking-plugins, crun, fuse-overlayfs or slirp4netns (other suggestions welcome): https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/os-autoinst-distri-fedora/c/9174472 https://pagure.io/fedora-qa/fedora_openqa/c/d861f94 https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/podman/pull-request/43 is a PR which would cause updates for podman for F33 and F34 to be gated on those tests. We could do the same for the other packages easily, I just filed one PR for now to see what the feedback will be. The tests at present don't exercise the toolbox container at all, but it'd be fairly easy to add that if it's a good idea. -- Adam Williamson Fedora QA IRC: adamw | Twitter: adamw_ha https://www.happyassassin.net _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam on the list, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure
