Hi,

I'm the packager of pulseaudio-module-bluetooth-freeworld in rpmfusion. That library provides AAC, LDAC and aptX for Bluetooth users.

What seems to be the case is that pipewire can already be built with
aptX and ldac support: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/blob/master/spa/meson.build#L31-32

There's a lot of work going on to improve Bluetooth support, which is great!

We already have libldac in Fedora, and here's a review request for libopenaptx: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1908922
(I appreciate if some of you could take a look)

This way, we could update the pipewire package to build with these in Fedora and have first-class support for these codecs.

Best regards,
Greg
