We're working with OSPO (formerly OSAS) to help bring in Red Hat contributions from the CTO's office. Peeling back the corporate structure: the CPE team reports into the Linux platform engineering organization at Red Hat, the same one that makes RHEL. So it's natural for the goals of that group to be squeezed towards the practical matters of OS pipelines and engineering bits. The Office of the CTO, however, has a much wider remit, and a lot of this "actual functioning health of our community so that we have a reason to produce those bits" stuff does fit there. So Marie and I are actively working with OSPO to formalize this. Marie is also working on reforming the web, design, and marketing teams and building those up so we don't have to be directly dependent on Red Hat in those areas (where, let's face it, Red Hat has historically under-invested). -- Matthew Miller <mattdm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Fedora Project Leader _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
