Uh, what a long-shot, tiring issue for me!  Giving it the last chance [1].
If I can help to FPC/rel-eng with fixing guidelines/processes, let me
know.

If there's some packager volunteering for the maintenance of
vim-syntastic, please ping me.  I'll otherwise move the package to copr
(for mostly personal usecase) once the package is "garbage collected".
