Well, except -- it doesn't come for free. I was just talking to David
Shea about something different and he mentioned that changelogs
comprise about 40% of RPM metadata, both on disk and in-memory for
every transaction.
Which raises another issue: How long history should be kept in the spec
file? Can't we have some policy stating that we can purge entries older
then X years, and tooling support for that? Trusting whatever VCS we
have for the longer history?
