Once upon a time, Ivan Chavero <ichavero@xxxxxxxxxx> said: > I'm not hijacking any thread, I STARTED this thread No, you didn't start a thread. You posted a reply to an unrelated message (the subject of that message was "Re: Fedora 25 Beta 1.1 compose check report"). When you want to start a new thread, do not reply to an existing thread. Properly threaded mail clients (and list archives) will show your message as being a part of that existing thread, just with a different subject. For example, see the threaded list archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/thread/ZVTPX74T7KJ7KYK47RS3BQZF4W5ESDMJ/ When you scroll down, you'll find your message buried in an unrelated thread. That is commonly called "thread hijacking". -- Chris Adams <linux@xxxxxxxxxxx> _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
