I didn't call them stupid - in fact I suggested just the opposite. Go back and read what I wrote.

, it is contrary to the goals of the installer. The Fedora installer is explicitly designed to do the absolute minimum necessary to get the installation up and running. Everything else should be handled post installation.

Pre-installation, post-installation, whatever is best. I simply advocated asking a question because users are smart enough to handle it.
