I'm talking about having the maintainer actually OK the push to stable after 
having checked the situation (or at least he/she is supposed to have checked 
it!), rather than letting the update go out automatically when a somewhat 
unpredictable event happens (and those very maintainers who enable karma 
automatism in the first place are also the ones most likely not be able to 
revoke the push in time, though it can happen to even the most reactive 
maintainer because the interval between the automatic push request and its 
execution is also unpredictable).
