As Michael said, it will happen if people keep seeing the value in
having RPM packaged apps.

You clearly (and others) see the value in that, but you still think it
won't happen.

Does it mean that even though you personally think that RPM packaged
apps are important, you won't make the effort to package apps?

If you (someone who think it's important) won't do it, then you have to
understand and accept that others (who don't see it as important) might
not want to do it either.
