Look, the proposal is not calling to replace sendmail, it's calling to
remove any MTA. So "sendmail is a bad MTA" is not a good argument for this
proposal. "sendmail is a bad MTA" is an argument to install Postfix or
Exim by default, not to remove the default MTA. And it's way easier to
replace the MTA in a distro built around an MTA that to add an MTA on a
distro where people stopped caring about MTA compatibility since it became
an optional component

Though anyway, +1 to use postfix by default like Suse
