god knows what happens here with the /etc/mtab symlink
BUT this all did never happen before "the problems with
/etc/mtab" where "solved" by replace it with a symlink

may i suggest to make nails with heads and fix packages
that any usage of /etc/mtab is REPLACED with directly
look at /proc/mounts?




I believe this was a problem with upgrading util-linux with rpm-4.10.2-2 installed.
