would deveopers of core-packages take a look at this? https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=887763#c37 god knows what happens here with the /etc/mtab symlink BUT this all did never happen before "the problems with /etc/mtab" where "solved" by replace it with a symlink may i suggest to make nails with heads and fix packages that any usage of /etc/mtab is REPLACED with directly look at /proc/mounts?
