The Anaconda version in the latest smoke test ( and few before that )
actually brings the ability to choose to use standard partitioning (
ext4 only ), lvm and btrfs so the whole "lvm not being the default"
discussion was kinda needless since a) this is not a regression from F17
( the installer offered to do that in F17 ) b) It's equally hard/easy
for those that want or do not want lvm to simply choose to use or not
use the lvm layout.
I honestly am not so sure they actually had to specifically get
"approval" to make the change from the storage developers,community or
fesco for that matter...
