I have to do some clarification to my previous post.
If someone wants to get things improved but not touching packages he clearly wants to work on upstream projects in order to get the fixes there. 
And the next time the package is updated to latest version the fixes will be in Fedora. I think that this is the only way to improve Fedora by not touching packages.
P.S. Note that I speak about development work and what I wrote has nothing to do with the work of Documentation/Translation teams which are doing great job.
