Except that on my box it systematically starts eating away the CPU
and drives the temperature through the roof.

But this bug is reported against F8, I really hope it is fixed in F10.

I remember reading your interview about F10 where you claimed
F10 is the first Fedora released without a major bug outstanding.

Not being able to run the installed on a fairly large class
of machines (I'd venture to say most desktop systems that use 
RAID will just use the BIOS one) is a rather important bug...
