Hi, I've a Debian unstable installation on my laptop with dmcrypt over LVM. I was thinking about a reinstallation because I would like to change partition geometry of my hard disk. Different guides suggest the two approaches in subject. Which one do you think is better? And why? I would like to use the faster one, my crypto need are quite basic: I would avoid that someone stealing my laptop gets access to all my data and password.
