Hi folks. I have to be honest to myself. I lost interest in cryptsetup. The first and foremost reason is that I migrated my root partition away from dm-crypt. The reason back than was performance. Now, it's the poor offering of filesystems in the Linux kernel. This adds up to no serious commitment to move this project forward. Hence, I like to entrust cryptsetup to a new maintainer(s). I would be happy if one of the long-term contributors could open his heart for this position. If none raises his hand, I will continue to maintain cryptsetup but more likely with yearly releases.
