Lol! I know Max maintains loop-aes packages for Debian. Nonetheless, there are certain requirements that every kernel has to fulfill for loop-aes disk encryption or even booting from USB media.
Just one more direct question concerning Kubuntu 7.04 amd64: How much work is it to rebuild a fresh installation towards full disk encryption? Needs the kernel to be recompiled to support booting from USB media?

Kind regards
Peter
