Greetings,
I've been following the Linux crypto scene on and off for a while now, and from what I've seen, loop-aes is the most tried and true approach for partition-level encryption in Linux. In particular, I'm hoping to create an installation with an encrypted root, bootable only from an external USB key.
I was wondering if any of the major Linux distributions integrate loop-aes and/or facilitiate its installation. I've general found extensive tweaks lead to upgrade problems farther down the line, so a distro with loop-aes built-in would make life much easier.
Thanks,
Michael
