| Kernel support is missing. Your kernel does not have loop module from
| loop-AES package. If you use old or new losetup from loop-AES package and
| kernel module from latest loop-AES package, it should work ok.

again - it used to work! my kenrnel has loop-aes support. but any way, what do you suggest ? get a new 2.6.8 kernel and patch it with the patche from the loop-AES-v2.1c source ? did i get you right ??
