The basic might work, but a lot of fixes to handle some corner cases are
only in 2.3.

I am fairly sure there is corosync 2.3 in experimental.

It only depends how clvmd has been built. openais is not a requirement
for operations as there are other preferred locking methods for clvmd
(dlm specifically).

The only pitfall is the sequence of commands you have to use to reduce
the nodes. I don´t recall the 1.4.x sequence tho..
