[Centos] Centos4 : kernel compile problems

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi ,

When i install source kernel , and compile these with standard .config from /boot my keyboard does not work.
I guess this has something to do with udev. Can someone help me with this ?
If i boot with standard 2.6.9 kernel is see in messages :
Mar 10 18:05:29 smoke kernel: input: AT Translated Set 2 keyboard on isa0060/serio0
and keyboard works.
With new 2.6.11 kernel these lines don't exist in messages , and no keyboard.
If i perform a /usr/sbin/kudzu : it says the AT Translated Set 2 keyboard has been removed from the system ?

In .config there's
CONFIG_INPUT_KEYBOARD=y
CONFIG_KEYBOARD_ATKBD=y

If i boot with acpi=off then keyboard works. But then i loose Hyper Treading
Grrrrr
