It would be also possible to use a second (already accessible
computer) connected via network to the box running Knoppix. To log-on
the Knoppix machine, ssh, for example, could be used. You would need
to set-up the root password on it, and to start the sshd daemon by
executing /etc/init.d/ssh start). The Debian installer debootstrap has
to be executed also from the console, because otherwise it chooses to
crash while creating the minimal system.

All other steps for installing Debian are no longer accessibility
specific. You'll have to consult documentation on debootstrap.
