Hello, the knoppix cd has also braille support. You can type in some commandwords at the prompt or can use a bootdisk. In a directory you can find a boodisk-image. You can modify the systems.cfg and voila if you boot from floppydisk the cd starts and you have brltty running. The festival system ist also on the cd. Konoppix is based on debian linux.
