Re: debian install help please

I'm not wanting a distro war, either. I don't know what you hearrd, and
it sounds wrong to me. I run 8.0, and I keep an rsync of the latest and
greatest in the devel version of what will become 8.1. I don't know what
you're talking about. About the only thing I can think of is that you
have to be careful, depending on what Red Hat installation "class" you
select durint the install, to be sure you get things like lynx
installed. Of course, you can always go back and rpm them on. They're
certainly part of the distribution media.

So, I think this is a lot of baloney.

Also, I'm not trying to tell Michael that Red Hat is better than Debian.
As it happens, I run both. I am saying don't sweat the small stuff. I
happen to believe it's more important to get a working installation than
to demonstrate loyalty to a particular distro.
