Yes, that is helpful, except for the phrase "graphical
programs for the configuration of the system". I trust you mean programs with graphical user interfaces?
How does an icon appear in a text-based system, such as Linux? How does one relabel an icon? With JAWS, there is a graphics labeler. Do the screen readers used for Blinux have such a facility, too?
