Ecmascript and Lynx/Linux

Martin,

I can't directly answer your question, and I would also be interested in
seeing a description of Ecmascript (although I have never seen it called
that; it is always called Javascript inside a web page). But Mozilla
apparently comes with a library for dealing with it, called libjs. At one
point, someone was working, or at least thinking about working, on trying
to get lynx to interface with libjs, but I don't know if he got anywhere.

But I suspect that most modern books on web programming would explain
Javascript, from the perspective of a web developer at least.
