Hi

Because if we wish to cooperate we can have a say on a genuine attempt to
make the interface accessible. Furthermore, you compared one element of an
application against a desktop environment.

All of which tells me absolutely nothing. I'm about to write something
here that details one of Microsoft's sins and why I'm doing it is because
nothing in that press release told me that use of any sun tool will make
such sins either highly unlikely or impossible in the future. I know of
more than one Microsoft sin, but I want to keep this message short so will
settle for one. I have used msaccess for data base development. In most
of that development I was successful. However when it came time to design
the forms using Microsoft tutorials I found that Microsoft had neglected
to supply any keyboard shortcuts or any submenus to enable keyboard users
to design forms. There were label boxes and control boxes that had
handles on them and you had to click on the handles with the mouse and
drag the handle to move and resize controls and other boxes. I'm
wondering, what will prevent open source developers copying that same
interface strategy and with or without any of sun's stuff locking us out
again.
