Daniel Stone should chime in here, but I believe that he stated that there are features in Weston 6 that he needs for the window manager and compositor architecture.

There are 2 options here:

* have weston6 for HH
* have weston6 for master (for further development)

Both can be achieved (or not depending on discussion :))

BTW, what are the core reasons to switch to weston6?
