Thanks for you reply,

I have read this excelent howto, but the problem is that I need an
installed linux in order to compile the kernel with the native drivers
option. So, first of all, I need to install RedHat with the FastTrak module.
Any other idea?

Try to use the native linux driver (included in the linux kernel
sources) The "Linux ATA RAID HOWTO" ll give you good informations.
