I need to boot from disks on promise controller, and i must create raid array to do so, but i don't want to use raid.
Do you think it's safe creating the array in promise bios, using the raid controller only as an eide controller (ie: enabling CONFIG_BLK_DEV_PDC202XX and not CONFIG_BLK_DEV_ATARAID_PDC and accessing disks as /dev/hde - /dev/hdg)?
