I had the same problem (almost) and it happend when i tried using the fdisk
in the installation insted of the other more user friendly tool. it seems
that fdisk has a problem reading the partition table in the raid, there are
modifications to fdisk wich can, but for the instatlation using the disk
druid should work (and dont forget to unmount the floppy if you whant to
create a boot disk)
