You can grab it from [community] [1] now.
During configure, the build process still can't find something to work
with mpeg/mpeg3 (which would probably be provided by the unpackaged
libmpeg3), gmerlin (in AUR) or glewmx (also AUR).
All are rather antiquated, but could be moved to community probably,
although I'm not so sure about conflicts with existing glew versions in
the repos right now, when looking at the latter.

Closing, the examples worked for me and I didn't have any stability
issues. Nonetheless, maybe some features are missing.
