[users@httpd] OT (Maybe): Scripting an htdigest Entry

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I'm writing a script that will provide HTTP access to several sites.
Each site will be governed by its own htdigest file. I'd like for the
script to create and populate an initial user (admin) that is ready to
go immediately, but there doesn't appear to be a way to script that
since the htdigest command offers no password flag.

Is there another way to populate this file from a bash script?

Thanks.
