That is the message I obtain after i launch Apache for the last time.

You need to enable mod_rewrite:
Around line 164 of httpd.conf, remove the '#' at the beginning of the line so that it says
LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so
Then restart the webserver.
